“Unnie, do we have to go? I still have a headache from yesterday” you whine as your friend drags you to a dance studio where you’ll be attending a dance lesson. Having no energy left over from last night, you have no intention on actually going. You were very lucky to attend a Super Junior concert last night where the new group EXO shared the stage. To say you had an amazing time would be an understatement, you loved every minute of it! One member of EXO, caught your attention the most. The main dancer and face of EXO-K, Kai. The way he moved, his famous smirk which you were lucky enough that he did right as you were taking a picture of him, looking straight at you. That boy has moved up your bias list so fast like he’s meant to be no.1. Not that you’re complaining though….

“Yes, come on! You said this morning that your headache has cleared. Come on, you’re going to love who’s teaching us today!” your friend smirks at you as you enter the building. You both register and you buy a bottle of water from the vending machine. 

“Tell me who it is first?” you ask as you tie your hair up loosely. She turns to you, still with that smirk on her face as she opens the dance studio doors. Two guys are already in there and you don’t bother to look at who it is. Your friend runs up to them and hugs the both of them. You set your things down and finally look up, only to be met with a pair of piercing eyes, gazing into your own. You notice them straight away and blush when no other, than EXO’s Kai is walking up to you, never letting his eyes leave you. You meet him half way and you both stare at each other for what seems like a lifetime. A cough breaks the contact and you both look around to find your friend and Sehun smirking at the pair of you. Laughing at the awkward situation, Kai bows to you and smiles.

“Anyeong, my name is Kai” he says with a killer smile and you bow back and reply with your name. He continues to smile as you both walk over to Sehun and your friend.

“Anyeong! My name’s Sehun and I hope you’re ready for a tough dance lesson” Sehun smiles warmly at you as you all start stretching. With all of the walls covered with mirrors, it’s hard not to look at Kai who, to your surprise, is still looking at you. 

You continue to stretch for a few more minutes before Sehun suggests something that that you’ve only dreamed of happening.

“Kai, why don’t we pair up and teach the girls individually?” he asks and you see the smirk on Kai’s face as he immediately turns to you, holding out his hand. You look down at it, hesitant, but still softly hold his hand as he leads you to one end of the room. 

“So, how’s your dance history?” he asks as he sits down on the floor and gestures you to sit with him. Looking at him with a slight frown and smile, you sit next to hin. He does realize that we’re supposed to be dancing, not sitting around? you think in your head as another killer smirk finds its way across Kai’s face. You slightly blush, looking down at the floor in embarrassment.

“Well, I used to take ballet classes when I was younger but, that’s all” you reply with and he can’t seem to keep his eyes off of you…..again!

He continues to stare at you, not bothering to reply with what you had just said until Sehun throws a teddy at his head that he actually realizes what he just did. He stutters a bit before blushing and standing up, offering his hand again to help you up.

“Sorry, I don’t know what’s wrong with me today. You ready?” he asks whilst still blushing and almost avoiding eye contact with you. You can’t help but wonder if it’s you that’s making him not focus but you’re pulled out of your thoughts as History begins playing and Kai starts teaching you the dance.

You have to admit, the dance was pretty simple…. also a bit funny! The part where you have to shake your hands whilst they’re in your pockets makes you laugh all the time, especially when Kai does it. You were both wearing loose bottoms so the fast ripples of material moving made you almost die of laughter.

But that’s not the only thing that distracts you…. now you can’t seem to keep your eyes off of Kai. Seems like the tables has turned but he still can’t keep his eyes off of you. Your friend has learnt the whole dance propperly but you… you only manage to learn up to the second verse. 

“Clearly you guys can’t focus to learn the dance propperly, why don’t we switch?” Sehun suggests and even though you really didn’t want to leave Kai and see him with your friend, you agree anyway.

You have to admit, Sehun was a great teacher and a good dancer but it just doesn’t feel right with him. Yes, you learnt the whole dance and got it perfectly, which is weird seeing as Kai is the main dancer, but you couldn’t keep your eyes off of Kai…. AGAIN!!!!

You’re not alone though, as he doesn’t really interact with your friend seeing as he’s too busy looking at you. Your friend even danced into him because he stopped halfway through, just staring and smiling at you.

“Okay, that’s a wrap! Thank you girls for coming today, same time next week? Be ready for MAMA!” Sehun smiles as you hug each other goodbye. Kai and your friend just bowed at each other but she hugged Sehun. You and Kai both look at each other with hesitant eyes, as you both walk up to each other for a hug. 

Being with Kai again made you feel better and happier. Everything just seems right when you’re with him and it’s crazy to say things like this, after just meeting for the first time a few hours ago. 

As he pulls away from the hug, his hand softly grabs yours as he places a piece of paper in you hand. Looking at his misterious eyes, you look down at the paper to find a message from him.

I really enjoyed today, even though I didn’t do a lot, other that stare at your beauty ;)

I really hope that we can be friends or better, more than just friends……

I like you a lot and I hope you feel the same way x

“So, you memorised his face yet?” your friend jokes as you’re walking home. You can’t help but laugh as his face pops up in your head….for the hundredth time today.
