I’m in the middle of deciding whether to close the blog for a few months until I get my exams out of the way or to just keep it open….

Another day, another problem. You couldn’t run away from this one. It determined your future. It killed you when the thought came to your mind and your problems at home didn’t help.

It’s time for you to make a very important decision in your life.

University.

Which one? Where? Will you have to go to a different country for your education? You didn’t know.

Not only was you stressed out because you had to choose before the end of the month, your family have been facing pretty bad financial problems. Your father has just been made redundant and your mother still can’t find a job to pay for your education. It’s official, you had given up.

There was no point trying anymore. It was time to face the fact that you weren’t going to university.

Last night, you had fallen asleep crying, again. You just didn’t know what to do anymore. You even ignored the texts and calls from your boyfriend, Jongin.

He’s been so worried about you lately. You weren’t eating, you were hardly talking to anyone apart from him. And even when you did speak to him, you showed no emotion.

This wasn’t the girl that he knew and he was determined to change this.

Your alarm went off again and you angrily slapped it to shut it off. Hurting your hand a bit in the process, you groaned and turned in your bed. Staring up at your celing, you decided that today was the day to tell Jongin why you’ve been acting like this. You couldn’t tell him before because you knew that it would worry him to death. Even though he has still been worrying about you, you felt bad for not telling him but today was going to change that.

You eventually got up and didn’t bother looking in the mirror, you knew you looked like death. After washing up in the bathroom and putting on some clothes and some light make-up, you texted Jongin.

You wanted to cry. Jongin was so sweet and caring. Even though he couldn’t be with you right now, you still felt loved. It made you feel a lot better.

With a smile on your face, you went downstairs to see your parents.

Who you saw, though, made your heart stop.

Jongin, was sitting at the dinner table, with your parents.

“Honey, I’m sorry I didn’t wake you. Jongin came early this morning and asked if he could talk to us” Your mother smiled at you as you slowly and hesitantly sat next to your boyfriend.

“Jongin has been telling us that you haven’t been okay in school lately and he’s really worried about you. I think it’s best if you and him went and talked to each other” Your father explained. You looked at Jongin who smiled lightly at you and held your hand in his.

You smiled back and let him to your bedroom. He closed the door and you sat down on the bed, he followed closely behind. The both of you faced each other and stared at each other before Jongin pulled you in for a comforting hug.

He buried his hand into your locks while the other held your body close to his. A tear fell from your eye. You never wanted to let go of him. He hugged you tighter, if that was possible before pulling away.

His eyes were filled with concern. He looked worried, scared. Everything that you felt, reflected in his eyes. His hand came up and moved a strand of hair away from your face before he pressed his soft lips on yours. Your eyebrows furrowed as you concentrated only on the kiss and Jongin.

You slowly pulled away and rested your forehead. Jongin closed his eyes as too did you.

“Why didn’t you tell me?” He asked after a long pause of silence. You didn’t answer, you just couldn’t. He’d think you didn’t trust him.

“I-….” You tried but nothing came out. He looked at you, understanding what you meant.

“I could have helped you, both you and your parents” He sighed, clearly annoyed with himself. He should have know that something was wrong.

“Jongin, don’t. I’m sorry. I knew that you’d be worried and I hate it when you worry about me” You rested your head on his shoulder and he buried his head into your neck.

“I’m sorry I haven’t been there for you…” He said.

“No, don’t. You have” You pulled away from him so that you were looking into his eyes. “Every time I saw you, spoke to you or even heard your name, it made everything better. It sounds cheesy, but if I didn’t have you, I don’t know where I’d be right no-” He cut you off by kissing you hard.

“I love you so much” He said between kisses. You couldn’t help but smile. This is why you loved him.

“And just so you know, there’s no need for you to worry anymore. You will be going to University” He smiled once he finished kissing you. You stared at him, confused.

“What? But I thought that-…” He cut you off again by kissing you with his signature smirk on his face.

“You know? If you want to kiss me, you don’t have to cut me off!” You laughed. He smiled and shook his head.

“What I meant was, there’s no need for you to worry about your parents’ financial problems. My dad lost a few workers last week and offered your dad a leading position at the company. Plus, my mother is helping your mum to get the catering business up and running again” He smiled while you just stared at him, wide-eyed.

“WHAT!?” You shouted but smiled at the same time. Without thinking, you pulled Jongin in for another kiss. This time, you were the one smiling like an idiot.

“But… How!?” You asked.

“Jongin came over a few days ago whilst you were at your art club” Your father said. Both him and your mother were standing at your bedroom door, smiling at you two.

“He was so worried about you that we had to tell him about our problems. After he went home, he told his parents’ straight away and they came over yesterday to sort everything out” Your mother said as they both walked in and your father’s hand rested on your shoulder.

“There’s no need to worry about University anymore. Your dad’s pay will be more than enough to pay for it” Jongin said, his hand holding onto your lovingly. You turned to him with tears in your eyes. He pulled you in for another hug and you cried on his shoulder.

“Thank you Jongin, for everything” You cried.

“Anything for you, beautiful”

I haven’t had any form of contact with any of you recently and I feel so bad about it. I haven’t written anything in ages and my excuse is pretty lame too..

I just haven’t been feeling okay lately. I’ve been pretty down these past few weeks and I don’t even know why.

I know that I said that I’d upload more in the new year and I’m sorry for not doing that. I’m going to see if writing can make me feel better but I can’t promise anything.

When He Loves You But You're Too Blind To See It (Donghae)

I really need to apologize for not uploading in a while. Mock exams and school has literally killed me but…. CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS!!! >< I’ll try and upload as much as I can!

“Yeah…. I know…. Yes mom they’re treating me well…. No, they have not killed me yet!” You laughed whilst on the phone to your mother. She had been calling you non stop since you left but you didn’t complain. She was just checking up on her daughter.

Super Junior were on tour and you, being their best friend, had been invited to spend the last month of the tour with them. You were traveling around the world with your best friends… What more could you ask for?

Your mother made a sarcastic comment on Eunhyuk’s new hair colour which made you laugh. At this moment, you looked around the empty tour bus. Everyone was out getting some fresh air and a bite to eat at the service station whilst you were just keeping yourself company with a bit of help from your mother.

The thought of being alone brought you back to your dismal and troubled thoughts. Every one of your friends were in a relationship and you were the only one who wasn’t. Yes, you were waiting for the right guy but at this rate, you don’t think he will ever show up.

You sighed out loudly as your mother was blabbering on about something when Donghae stepped onto the bus, feeling the warm air touch his freezing skin. He looked around to see if anyone else had come back but he just saw you, in the same position that he last saw you.

A smile found its way on his face as he saw you. You were close to all the members but you were a lot closer with Donghae. You’ve been best friends with him since you were toddlers and he’s always been there for you. He’s always made you feel special and you’d be lost without him.

You hadn’t noticed him so he took the time to admire your beauty. You’ve always been beautiful in Donghae’s eyes, even when you were at your worst. A few years ago, Donghae realised that he didn’t want to be your best friend anymore. Instead, he wanted to become your lover, as he had fallen in love with you. He didn’t bother saying anything though, as every time he’d bring up the subject of relationships, you’d say that you weren’t in the mood for one.

All these years, he’d kept this to himself. He promised himself that he’d tell you about his true feeling but he’d always feel scared that you wouldn’t feel the same way. He’s kept it to himself for so long now, he doesn’t know if be can for much longer…..

“Hey” He smiled at you as he reviled himself after a while. He noticed your glum face but did not comment as you were on the phone.

“Hi” You smiled back, trying to figure out what your mother was saying but you couldn’t concentrate. Not when Donghae and his beauty was in front of you.

“Tell your Mom I said hi” He commented and took a seat next to yours. You smiled and blushed as you felt his arm touch your bare one.

“She says hi and hopes your okay….. And don’t work too hard or you’ll worry her!” You laughed and shook your head at your mothers comment.

“Mom, I have to go now…. I know, I’ll be safe” You smiled as you turned around to Donghae, who was smiling back at you. After reassuring her you’d be fine, you finally hung up and turned to Donghae.

“Is she okay?” He asks.

“Mhm. A little stressed with the shop but she’s okay” You looked out the window to the cold place.

Again, Donghae couldn’t help but stare at your beauty. He didn’t know how he got so lucky to have a girl like you in his life. He just wished you could see how much he liked you….

“… Are you okay?” He asked.

“What? Of course I am! Why do you ask?” You replied.

“You don’t seem yourself lately. You’re not smiling as much as you usually do. You’re worrying me” He frowned and turned his full body to face yours.

You were shocked. You thought that you were good at hiding your true feelings but looks like you aren’t that good.

“I-….”

“You know you can trust me” He smiled.

After hesitating a bit, you let it all out.

” … There’s this guy that I like….. But I don’t think it would work out” You admitted.

“Oh….. And, why do you think that?” His face dropped a little.

“We’re really close. As in, friends. I just feel like if we dated and something happened, it would ruin the amazing friendship that we already have” You sighed. Knowing that Donghae would understand, you said everything that was on your mind.

“Well… If you really like him, then you should tell him” He said with no emotion at all. He was on the verge of tears and he just wanted to get out of there.

“Really? Well, I’m gonna go and get some food…” You said quietly as you put on your coat and shoes.

Before leaving, you turned around and looked back at him, who put on a brave face. You smiled and you waked up to him, Donghae pulling you down on his lap for a tight and meaningful hug.

“Thank you Donghae” You whispered as your breath on his neck made him shiver a little.

“Anytime ———— ah… Anytime”

As you left the bus, Donghae couldn’t control his emotions any longer. The tears fell from his eyes harder than ever. Knowing that you liked someone else other than himself made his heart rip apart.

He wanted nothing more than to own your heart and call you his. He wanted to be there when you needed him. He wanted to hold you until you fell asleep. He wanted to be the reason why you smiled.

It hurt so much that you didn’t like him like he liked you. Now knowing that, he knew instantly who the guy is that’s making you feel this way; Eunhyuk.

You two have always been close and Donghae can’t help but notice how happy you were when you’re around Eunhyuk.

He hated being jealous. But right now, it was the only thing that he could do…..

The minute you were off the bus, you broke down. You ran behind the vehicle and cried your eyes out. The fact that Donghae didn’t realise that you love him killed you.

You wanted nothing more that to be in his arms and have him love you. He was your best friend and the thought of being with him made your heart jump with joy. But, it was obvious that he didn’t feel the same way as you.

You wanted to tell him that it’s he who you’re in love with but now, you don’t want to think of such things.

You stayed there for a few more minutes, trying to calm yourself. When you did, Eunhyuk came around the corner and saw you.

“——— ah? What are you doing here?” He laughed a little whilst waking up to you.

“….. Just thinking” You smiled back.

“Well, how about you think whilst going to get food with me?” He offered his hand to you and you gladly took it, walking to the food court with him.

Eunhyuk knew what was wrong with both you and Donghae. He also knew that Donghae believed you liked Eunhyuk. He wanted to help his two best friends, and that’s exactly what he was going to do.

“Siwon! Hurry up, the show is about to start!” Leeteuk shouted through the penthouse.

“Well, excuse me for wanting to look my best” Siwon came out after spending a good few hours getting ready. You were all heading down to the theater, where a show was being shown. Leeteuk had begged you all to go so you had to agree, though the thought of being with Donghae all night made you want to cry your heart out.

Ever since the bus incident a week ago, you had both completely ignored each other. Nothing was said between you, not even a look. You didn’t want to see him, knowing that you’d break down straight away. Eunhyuk though, had been trying to get you both to speak to each other.

He knew exactly what was going on and hated seeing you both like this. When they went to practice, he’d make sure you were there with them. When you went to sit up front in the car with Shindong, he’d make you swap places with him so that you and Donghae sat beside each other. He was trying so hard and you were grateful for his effort. But, the fact was, you just didn’t want to face Donghae right now.

You all went down to the lobby and waited for the doors to the theater to open, obviously Hyukjae made you stand and wait by Donghae again. Every few minutes, Eunhyuk would turn towards you both and gaze for a while. He was disappointed that none of you were making an effort, especially with Donghae.

You could feel Donghae’s gaze on you. You could tell he was upset and it killed you. He wanted to speak to you, but knowing that you wouldn’t want to speak to him, he just didn’t bother. He knew he had to do it sometime though, and that sometime, was tonight…..

“Woah! Hyung, thank you for bringing us here! The show is amazing so far” Sungmin whispered at Leeteuk who was lightly singing along. The musical was a classic and you hated things like this, especially one with this plot.

It was a love story between two people; a man and a woman. The characters were childhood best friends (like you and Donghae) and loved each other, but didn’t know this (like you and Donghae). They move away and don’t see each other for a few years. They meet again and realize that they loved each other and lived happily ever after.

The plot made you want to die. One; it was cheesy. Two; the ending was obvious. And three; you couldn’t help but compare it to your situation.

What if you and Donghae never spoke again because of this? What if he actually loves you back but you’re too blind to see it?

You hadn’t notice a tear fall from your eyes until Eunhyuk nudged your arm a little. You looked up at him, his eyes filled with horror as they met your tears.

“——-ah…..” He whispered. You just shook your head as more tears fell. Standing up, you rushed out of the theater and back up the elevator to the penthouse. Heavy footsteps were following you, and they didn’t belong to Eunhyuk……

You sobbed into the damp sheets. You’ve never felt like this. Love is supposed to make you feel happy, not dismal and lifeless. Why were you feeling like this? Oh yeah, because Donghae didn’t love you back.

Until……

*Knock, knock, knock* “———ah! Open up!” You heard him call for you on the other side of you door.

“Please, just open up. We need to talk” He pleaded. You were still crying when you went to the door, but you did not open it.

“Why should I?” You asked. Nothing was heard from him, he was contemplating on saying it.

…

“Because I love you….”

…

You slowly opened the door, to reveal a distressed Donghae. His hair was everywhere and before you could look at him any more, you were pulled into his embrace as his lips met yours. You didn’t know how to react. Donghae loved you.

You were shocked with how straight forward Donghae was being right now, but you couldn’t care less. With his lips on yours, you couldn’t feel anything but happiness. The tears had stopped long ago as his soft lips continued to smooth over yours.

After a while, you slowly pulled away, with Donghae groaning at the loss of your lips. You sighed a little, whilst looking up at him with wide but sincere eyes. A few minutes of carelessly staring at each other, you both broke out huge smiles. You couldn’t believe what Donghae had just told you but when he looked at you, you knew it was real.

“I love you too…” You smiled as he pulled you into his arms, the arms which he wants you to be in for the rest of his life.

Song Playing Whilst I Wrote This: Not Strong Enough by Apocalyptica ft Brent Smith

“I love you, so much” Siwon smiled at you as he plants a sweet kiss on your forehead. You were leaning your head on his shoulder and tried to get some sleep whilst on the plane. Super Junior were having a break from activities so they booked a holiday to the Maldives, insisting that they bring their girlfriends. Meaning, you were tagging along with Siwon.

Everyone was cuddling to their other-half’s on the plane, except for two members; Yesung and Kyuhyun.

Kyuhyun’s excuse? “I don’t need girls, girls need me” and so he’s never bothered looking at a girl. You looked over at him, smiling at his facial expressions as he aggressively tapped his iPad, probably playing a game or something! You turned to Yesung who was sitting next to him, still with a smile on your face.

Your smile faded when you saw how sad he looked. With his ear buds in, his arms crossed over his chest and his dull eyes facing forwards to Leeteuk’s chair, he looked so… Lifeless.

He noticed your stare and frown of concern and turned to face you. Slowly, the corners of his lips tug into a less meaningful smile. Could you even call that a smile???

You nodded a ‘Are you okay?’ and he seemed to have gotten the message when he slowly breathed in and out, nodding. Not satisfied with his answer and actions, you eyes softened and he smiled a bit more lively.

“I’m fine” he said. After you made sure he was, you smiled at him and turned back to Siwon. Yesung still hadn’t convinced you though. He’d been acting strange for a while now. And it’s a bit of a coincidence that he starts acting this way when you and Siwon announced to the guys that you had been dating for four months. He doesn’t speak to Siwon much now, he hardly every smiles when you’re with Siwon and he doesn’t call you anymore. You know that something is bothering him but you don’t want to pressure him into telling you.

“———— ah! Can I just say you look amazing today?” Leeteuk smiled at you, his dimple standing out even more than usual. You blushed a thousand shades of red and Siwon leans forward so Leeteuk can see him.

“Hyung, she looks amazing every day” he smiles at you and you cover your face from embarrassment. The smile on your face faded as you heard a snicker from behind Leeteuk; Yesung.

Turning to him, you saw him shaking his head with one ear bud out from his ear. He must have heard the whole thing. You just shook it off, thinking that he thought that what Siwon said was cheesy. Little did you know, a very jealous guy was awake the whole flight, staring at your beauty as you slept.

A Few Days Later

“Guys, we’re going to go to the beach, you coming?” Donghae asked you, Siwon, Eunhyuk and his girlfriend. You were all lounging around the shared penthouse and decided it was best to go out and get some fresh air.

“What about Yesung and Kyuhyun?” Eunhyuk asked.

“I’ll go ask them now” Siwon offered.

“No honey, you go down with the guys, I’ll go ask them” you stepped in. Reassuring Siwon that you wouldn’t be long and after he kissed you, the guys left and you went to the boys room…. Knowing very well that Kyuhyun was already at the beach.

Lightly knocking the door to Yesung’s room, you waited a few moments before it slowly opened. Behind it, stood a very tired looking Yesung. His messy brown hair was all over the place but oddly looked good. His eyes wouldn’t open fully but when he saw your face in front of him, he soon straightened up and opened his tired eyes.

“Urh… ———ah. Is everything okay?” he asked, clearly nervous. “Where are the guys?” he looked behind you into the empty penthouse.

“They’ve all gone to the beach, do you want to come?” you asked with a smile on your face.

“Oh…. No thanks, I’m still jet lagged” he almost whispered and hung his head down low. Stepping backwards towards his room, he left you at the door and went to sit by a desk which was by the window.

Shocked by his actions, you stepped into the room and slowly closed the door.

“Yesung?” you asked softly. “Is everything okay?”

He sighed. “No, no everything is not okay” He sighed and rested his arms on the desk, with his head leaning on them. You walked up to him and put your hand on his shoulder, feeling Yesung tense when he felt you.

“What’s wrong?” you asked, kneeling down to his level. He looked down at you and you saw sadness all in his eyes. This wasn’t the Yesung that you knew.

“Do you know what it feels like? To love someone with all your heat…. but them not loving you back? When they don’t even know how you feel?” A tear fell from his eye and your heart broke. You’ve only seen Yesung cry when their album sold over 250,000 copies. Those were tears of joy. Now, these are tears of sadness.

“Oh Yesung…..” you pulled him into your arms and hugged him tight. It killed you seeing Yesung like this, so fragile and broken. To you, Yesung had always been the strongest member. His mentality and passion was a lot stronger that the others and that’s what you loved about him. His confidence outshone everyone around him but he wasn’t the cocky type. He cared for the people around him and put others first before himself.

“It hurts ———- ah. It hurts” he cried into your shoulder.

“I know Yesung…. I know” You stroked his soft hair as he cried even harder.

It took him a while to calm down and for the tears to stop. He was still in your arms though, never wanting to let go. You don’t know why, but you have this feeling that you know who’s making Yesung feel this way… and it’s not looking good.

“Yesung, you need to tell this person. Does this person know how you feel?” you softened your eyes as he finally let go of you, with much hesitation.

He looked deep into your eyes, debating on whether or not to speak, but he did anyway.

“……. She does now” he whispered.

You knew this was coming, but you were still shocked. All these years, when Yesung always called dibs to sit by you at dinner, when he’d constantly call you Jagiya though you thought that he was just playing around, even when he changed his attitude towards Siwon when he asked you out, you never thought that you’d be the one that Yesung liked….. more so…. Loved.

“I’m sorry. I know I shouldn’t have told you like this, things will just be awkward between us now and you’ll probably tell Siwon, and he’ll kill me. I won’t be in the band no more, the guys will hate m-” you cut Yesung off with your hand covering his mouth.

“Don’t ever speak like that again. Ever” you stated boldly. You were about to speak when you heard the door to the penthouse opening. It was probably one of the guys checking on you. A knock came from Yesung’s door and you looked at him. He nodded his head and you went to open it, revealing a worried Siwon.

“Honey, what’s wrong? What’s taking you so long? I was worried sick!” he breathed out and pulled you into a loving hug. Siwon looked up and saw Yesung, red eyed and sniffling.

“Yesung? Is everything okay?” Siwon let go of you and looked into your eyes for answers.

“Everything’s fine. Yesung and I just had a talk and he let a few thing out that he’s been keeping bottled up inside. He’s okay now, aren’t you Yesung?” You looked at him and for the first time in a while, Yesung genuinely smiled wide at you.

“Yeah, we are now” Siwon breathed out again and put his hand on his heart.

“Thank God, you both scared me to death!” Siwon laughed. Both you and Yesung looked at each other and laughed with Siwon. “Are you guys coming down to the beach? There’s turtles there….” Siwon sang the last part and Yesung’s eyes lit up.

“TURTLES!!???” He beamed. “Come on guys! Let’s go!” he grabbed his beach stuff and lead the way to the beach.

You smiled to yourself, happy that Yesung is his usual self again…. but what he said still bothered you.

He loved you….

You could never leave Siwon for Yesung, you weren’t that type of person. You loved Siwon with all your heart and you’d never hurt him. You loved Yesung like a brother, nothing more. You just hope that some girl will come along and swipe him off his feet, saving you from admitting your true feelings towards him…..
